Strangers visit baby after accidentally receiving wrong text
These two brothers don’t get annoyed by group texts easily.
Dennis Williams of Tallahassee, Florida received a group message announcing the birth of a baby boy that was clearly meant for someone else.
Instead of blowing the family off, Dennis and his brother Deorick played along.
At first Dennis Williams wrote, "Congrats lol but I think someone got the wrong number,” but the baby's grandmother Teresa Lashley ignored the message and sent over a photo of the little boy.
"Well I don't know Y’all but me and the boys will be thru to take picture with the baby," he added.
The Williams brothers weren't kidding about that and made their way to Bainbridge Hospital in Georgia bearing gifts for baby Carson and his mother Lindsey Lashley.
"I accidentally [TEXTED]a message about Mark and Lindsey having a baby to a number I had in my phone for someone else which now belongs to Mr. Dennis Williams and he and his brother came by to visit us and brought the baby a gift!” Teresa Lashley wrote on Facebook.
“What a blessing these two guys were to our family. They were so sweet and kind to do this.”
The guys are extremely overjoyed about going viral and have been sharing the stories all over social media.
Yesterday Dennis Williams posted a live video saying people are "hating" on him for going viral. It was mostly in good fun and in the video he walked around his house showing his family members.
One commenter wrote, “Message to your mom. You did a good job raising your sons to have a good heart. Pat yourself on the back!!!!! The gesture was sincere and that says alot!!!! grin emoticon.”
