You explained it better but thats my main point. Black americans are so hung over what mixed people can say, do etc.

Only remark i have is i believe colored is more a term they use in south africa. Then in the rest of africa.


We don't care if a "mixed" person with FBA lineage says it because mixed FBA people were getting called that during slavery as well.


We don't want non-FBA saying it period.


Especially weird mixed people like Doja Cat.

Yeah that's where she got the reasoning from yes. But if she is not of Black American heritage (no diaspora wars shyt please) then she's really just trying to use it just to use it.
It's also a lame excuse from someone living in Japan to say it. There's way more ways to get in touch with her roots than that. This girl definitely saying it cuz she feels like it makes her cooler. She didn't grow up with it being a formal part of her vernacular (albeit technically a cuss word) like a lot of adults use it now.
