Like I said, it sounds like he just wanted to keep the money. Paying for rewrites is standard practice.
Like I said, it sounds like he just wanted to keep the money. Paying for rewrites is standard practice.I don’t understand what the issue is. He’s not obligated to give anyone a writing job. They wanted more money and he showed them he could do it without them.
I'm just keeping it real. This dude acting like he CANT pay other writers... I bet there's a whole grip of cheap writers that he can pay off the books without the union problems...It's clear his scripts look and sound all the damned same it's very annoying
I don't see Warner Bros depending on one man to write all of their movies do they?!?
How do you expect to compete with bigger film and movie studios when your shyt is repetitive...I'm just keeping it real. This dude acting like he CANT pay other writers... I bet there's a whole grip of cheap writers that he can pay off the books without the union problems...
.If you're okay with your product being seen as total garbage by everyone outside your fan base, then keep it up.
Here's what I mean:
I don't listen to much Classical music. When I hear it, do I think its total garbage? No way. In fact, some of the stuff I do like is clearly not as finely crafted as most Classical music.. right?
I don't drive an expensive car. Do I think they are garbage? No way. I recognize that my taste doesn't allow me to spend more than I HAVE to on a whip.
So you don't have to consume a product to recognize its quality.
But for Perry, either you're a fan or you think his shyt is terrible.
I don't know what percent of the audience likes his shyt, but I am gonna guess like 90% think he flat out sucks.
If that's all right with you its all right with me, TP
He knows his audience and giving them what they want, while keeping his costs down because he does so much of it himself. Dude is arguably the most successful (financially) black director of all time. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
He needs to pay some people. Stop playing around. Acrimony is a perfect example of a script that needed a script doctor. My mom is a huge fan of his, but the rational of the things that happened in that movie had her like.
