I'm just keeping it real. This dude acting like he CANT pay other writers... I bet there's a whole grip of cheap writers that he can pay off the books without the union problems...

Exactly, he can do whatever he wants to do with his company but eventually that shyt is going to wear thin.

That is the norm, maybe not if you are a staff writer on salary but if you are paid per project then it's normal to be paid for a re-write depending on the stipulations between the writer and the production.

Tyler is just cheaping out

He knows his audience and giving them what they want, while keeping his costs down because he does so much of it himself. Dude is arguably the most successful (financially) black director of all time. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

He found a formula that works for him and the easiest way to save money is to cut out the middle men and he did that.

He has an audience that likes what he does. He doesn't necessarily have to be good at it, he just needs to maintain that audience.

Tyler doesnt really owe anybody anything; however, the quality of his work would benefit from other people getting involved. He doesn't owe them anything though, he's a self made millionaire.

His workload isn't sustainable though, so sooner or later he's going to have to bring in some help to continue operating at that level. He's delaying the inevitable.
