He's somehow got some people convinced his movies should be the standard for black cinema. The acting in them sucks, the lighting sucks, the writing sucks, the entire shyt looks cheap.



Spike Lee's movies weren't made to appeal to white folks either and they were GREAT.


Love & Basketball wasn't made for white people and is a god damn classic love story


Menace 2 Society was one of the best films of the 90s (FACTS) and it was made to appeal to black people.


Atlanta might not be trying to only appeal to black people, but its main target is clearly black people and that shyt is amazing.

how come white people can make movies that cover then entire spectrum....from great dramas to bullshyt adam sandler shyt comedies...but a black man has to make movies that appeal to all black people?
