Yea, I'm one of them. By the time Cherry Bomb dropped I was tired of the shenanigans. Flower Boy won me back over.
The gap between Cherry Bomb and Flower Boy is two years. So you stopped listening to Tyler for two years? Ok nikka? :mjlol:

That's not even close to what I'm referring to

The gap between Wolf and Flower Boy is 4 years. That would be a better representation of how long I went without really listening to anything new from him.

I also went from my early 20s to mid 20s during that time.

Eh what he's saying his true.

Tyler came out in 09' Yonkers was early 2010's and I was in college back then.

People who listened to OF are in their 30's now and either continued to listen to his music as it became more melodic, or dropped him because they still wanted the immature shock raps.

Not to mention his younger fans who aren't even aware of the early OF shock raps.
What exactly are you arguing?:dahell: y'all are arguing two opposing ideas to cover all bases

My point is nikkas trying to make this big division of Tyler fandom when it's not as true as nikkas making it out to be. Most of Tyler's fans today were fans in the OF days

What's happening here is a blind spot nikkas tend to have regarding liberals. There's this assumption that only conservative, MAGA cacs are into racist edgelord c00n humor and those are this section of Tyler fans that fell off as Tyler "matured". That shyt ain't the case

Just as many white liberals, and their token suburban black friends, love that shyt too. I'm laughing because I witnessed this in real time and now nikkas trying to wash their hands of Tyler's past and who his fans really are:mjlol:

I guarantee you there's a whole lot of Tyler fans who may be Kamala supporters and love Flower Boy and Igor and all that shyt now, that also loved b*stard and were laughing at all the edgy c00n shyt he was doing back in 2011

This whole topic is slick an exposal/ reflection on how many young black suburban kids go through a edgelord c00n phase and are trying to play that shyt off now in their later mature years

Tyler was the voice of the "The black kids made fun of me for liking rock music and Pokemon" black kids and now nikkas playing dumb:mjlol:

Everything is political. And you can't find a lie in anything I said. Especially nikkas playing dumb about the edgelord c00n phase a lot of suburban black kids have. Tyler was the first Doja Cat:manny:

I like his music and think he's cool but if any Artist moulded their fanbase it's him. His whole angle was about being different, "new black". He made a point of saying he wasn't influenced by Illmatic and other great Hip Hop albums because he was more inspired by 70s French Prog Rock. He created what he is complaining about, he deserves all the criticism that comes his way.

facts....all those black people talking about they don't like Kendrick's TPAB album, basically be on the same type of timing:scust:
If we really wanna keep it all the way real, Tyler and his fans not really any more or less anti black than most rappers. His aesthetic was just atypical
