Singer/actor Tyrese Gibson premiered his documentary A Black Rose That Grew Through Concrete earlier this week. In his 45-minute flick, the 34 year-old Watts native reminisces on how he pursued his dream of success, while growing up in a community full of drugs, gangs and violence.

He also takes us behind-the-scenes of his newest music video, “Best of Me,” which stars Eva Marcille as his leading lady. You’ll find it at the end of his visual chronicle.
