If studios are going to convert established characters to different races (with white to black/black to white being polar opposites) they need to have great alternative backgrounds to give a breadth and depth to match their new identity, especially with a story like the X-Men being so similar to civil rights, even if it wasn't originally based on civil rights.

If they're just gonna make known characters black just on some inclusion shyt that's kind of corny.

the problem i have with black professor x/ magneto is the choice that needs to be made. they were black kids in their formative years and have seen all sorts of shyt. then would become mutants later and see all sorts of shyt due to it. so do they abandon their black human past for a potential mutant future? can they willingly bomb on humans knowing that they come from a disenfranchised group and that group is among those in the line of sight?

I mean, I don’t want a black professor x either. There’s still PLENTY of black heroes that I’d like to see on the big screen. The whole idea of race-changing characters is corny to me and detracts from the good original ones.

I’m still waiting on my Blue Marvel movie:

The audacity of this thread. OP acting like we supposed know who he's talking about.:mjlol:
um why do we want black professor x again? Thats a fukkin trash idea :mjtf:

You nikkas love hand me downs huh :mjtf::wtf:

Why do ya'll wanna be like the feminists? what's wrong with ORIGINAL black hereos? Turning color/gender of original heroes is tacky and annoying.

What next, an Asian 'Black Panther'?

No one asked Disney for a Black professor x. They're courting cac outrage for publicity which seems to be the wave in Hollywood.

damn i need some backstory he look crazy :damn:

He was a superhero during the JFK era. Had a silver mask on to hide his identity so he could do his thing without upsetting white America. His enemy was his white best friend who went crazy, and was very anti racism. During one of his fights, his mask got torn and people could see he was black underneath. JFK thanked him for his service and then asked him to retire because the public wasnt ready for a black superhero as powerful as he was. He retired and had kids with a secret shield agent.
