People will be celebrating New Years 3000 4000 etc and we will be nothing more then decomposed in a casket or ashes. As much as people try to do in there daily lives and as much as people try to accomplish in the end it realy means nothing if you look at it

Yep, basically one day we gonna all go to sleep and never wake up. Won't even know your dead, won't even know you ever lived, just silence and darkness. All that will be left is your legacy and memories.

you will pop up again in form of a great great great great grandson.
I have always believed that imortality was how your genes carry on
through your family.
think about it......you can be a kid born who looks like nobody else
in the family and a grandmother can go to a photo album
and show you your doppelganger wearing slack and suspenders
and standing by a 1940 chevy.

Nothing can't exist. There always has to be something even if it's not You. This doesn't mean that You'll have an afterlife in heaven, necessarily, but that someone or something else will exist when You (right now) are dead/forgotten and that someone or something will experience existence the same way You are right now. It's not that you're connected directly to them, but your death is a non-experience to all living things. The same way You're here right now while other people you'll never know, while people who have died, while people who are being born have no effect on your life. You already don't exist to some people, instantly and eternally. They don't perceive your existence and won't perceive your non-existence. When you stop existing, the others who exist will have the same relationship with you that you have with people who are already dead now. Instantly.

Very hard to put my perspective into words, maybe someone else can clarify.

I'm not saying there'll be reincarnation of you as is. It's just that non-existence can't be. Your identity dies but the experience of being a human being continues in others. Not even sequentially (as in you have to die first, then someone is born the instant you die). Existing and living is all that can be known.

Not reincarnation of you as is, though. It's just that there can never be non-existence and non-experience. Your identity dies but the experience of being a human being continues in others.

So what was your existence before you were born?

So what was your existence before you were born?

It's so hard to put this into words...

You, "Born2BKing" didn't exist yet, but that didn't mean there was nothingness. There wasn't even nothingness for You, there was always Something. You woke up without ever having slept as if the instant you were born was the beginning of Time. This is all you've ever known and all you'll ever know. To your perspective, it never wasn't and will never stop being.

It's very, very, very hard to say, but there is no eternal void of nothingness, that can't be experienced by anything so it literally doesn't exist. You're always in the Now. No one directly experiences or remembers the enormous amount of time that occurred before their first moment of existence. To yourself, you were always here.

I swear, concepts like these are nearly impossible to discuss with mere words.

Death and non-existence is normal. It is only life that is the exception and anomaly in the game of eternity.

yes we all die eventually but some people leave a lasting legacy even after. so you can't say it means nothing. Just having kids alone leaves a legacy for a bunch of others to exist where they wouldn't. Then you got inventions, works of arts, charities, etc.
