US gets its 4 prisoners, and Iran gets 6 of its own. The right already on the attack saying Obama is weak for this, but them same pundits was saying he was weak for not getting them back as part of the nuclear deal . These dudes will play politics with everything .


Iran releases 4 Iranian-US dual nationals in prisoner swap

Iran announced on Saturday it has freed four US citizens from its custody, including Washington Post reporter Jason Rezaian, ahead of the expected implementation of its landmark nuclear deal with world powers.

"In line with orders from the Supreme National Security Council and in the national interest, four Iranian dual national prisoners have been released in a prisoner swap," Tehran public prosecutor Abbas Jafari Dowlatabadi was quoted as saying by Iranian news agencies.

IRNA news agency's English language service quoted him as saying the freed prisoners were Iranian-Americans.

Remember Republicans crying about Obama not getting the hostages freed? The timing of the release with lifting sanctions probably isn't a coincidence. CNN just reported that Iran is ahead of schedule on dismantling their nuclear program. They now don't even have enough uranium for a bomb.

Honestly, you've captured what I've been trying to say about the Obama presidency for years. He's far from perfect. I hated the way he handled bank negotiations during the financial collapse and the messaging around it to the general public, but he has done a excellent job given the circumstance.
