On the one hand I use uber all the time so ive benefitted from Government R and D once again... On the other hand maybe civilian branches of the Government shouldnt have venture capital firms?

Im less appalled by the actual article... After PRISM i just assume everything collects data :dead:


In 2010-2011 we learned about the secret server room in the at&t building that was channeling traffic from Asia so when prism can out I was :yeshrug:

You really should just assume that. Everything from rewards cards to that mini-dataminer we all keep in our pockets.

There are more nefarious things to worry about like Stingrays which most people wouldn't even give a second thought about.
