Four-star DE Oluwole Betiku decommits from UCLA
Four-star defensive end Oluwole Betiku decommitted from
UCLA on Friday, he
announced via Twitter.
“At this time I have decided to open up my recruiting,” Betiku
wrote. “It is in my best interest to take my time with the recruiting process and weigh my options carefully, it’s a lifetime decision and I pray God guides me to make the best decision. I’d like to thank UCLA coaching staffs.”
Betiku, who
committed to UCLA in August, is a native of Nigeria who currently lives in Gardena, Calif. He is ranked by Rivals as the No. 36 overall recruit in the class of 2016.
Betiku is reportedly considering
Florida,
Florida State,
Notre Dame and
Texas A&M, as well as several other programs, in his college search.
