Maybe its just me but I haven't really noticed this fight being promoted like it should be. I think the main and co-main are going to be good fights.
Maybe i'm getting their weight classes mixed up but aren't both Holloway/Ortega close enough to the Khabib, Connor, Fergusion division, that this fight should be a pretty big deal? Holloway lost a respectable bout vs Connor years back before he was as improved as he is now and was going to fight Khabib before the setback. Ortega has been pretty impressive out the gate as well.

I forgot this fight was even this weekend until a coworker reminded me a couple days ago

Holloway and Ortega are in the weight class just below. So yeah this fight should be bigger than it is especially if Max wins convincingly there wouldn't be any reason for him to stay at featherweight.

And yeah I didn't even think about this fight until I was watching a press conference yesterday.

This will be a good test for Max; his style is perfectly suited to beat Aldo, and Pettis never belonged at 145, so Ortega will be able to make this one competitive.
