Is this main event really a PPV main event and will it be competitive? I know the second last fight will be good for sure.

Just wondering, I know Korean Zombie is popular yet 3 losses in his last 7…with a win against an ancient Edgar included, and he gets a title shot? Am I missing something.

The more I’ve been diving into MMA again these days the more I realize the recycling of fighters and lack of overall depth in the sport. The UFC does a hell of a job in marketing though.

Basically Volk cherry picked Korean Zombie for the easy bag, since he's washed. His last four opponents were Ortega, Holloway 2X and Aldo. Those were some hard fights so I feel the UFC did him a favor since more than likely a third fight with Holloway is next for him.

He didn't cherry pick shyt, Holloway got injured so KZ was the highest ranked fill-in that would make sense.

If Chimaev washes Burns then I will be fully on board the hype, Jingliang was one of the easiest fights he could have to get him ranked near the top 10, dude got mauled by Magny.

Calvin Katter is ranked higher, has more wins and knockouts. Same amount of fights in the UFC as KZ and never been knocked out. :comeon:

Ranked 1 spot behind KZ and fought Giga on 1/15, 4 days after Volk vs Korean Zombie was announced. You want a 3rd attempt at this or were you just not aware that KZ was an injury replacement?

I'm aware he was the injury replacement. I'm saying if he wanted a tougher fight he could have gone with Katter.
