Yea, fighters depend a lot on sponsors and apparently that UFC-Reebok deal isn't helping them.

Dana screwin these fighters big time

it's sickening how the UFC screws their fighters. I'm not even a fan of MMA, but anyone can tell they are shady with their money.

the average UFC pay-per-view gets between 600,000-1,000,000 buys. do the math at $54.99 per buy, that's anywhere between $33M-55M in pay-per-view revenue. UFC probably gets around 60% of the pay-per-view money so say they average between $20-33M after the fees. then add in the gate which is usually another $1-2M. yet the fighters who are selling the product and generating all of that revenue only see about 3-5% of that revenue at best and then they have to split it.

UFC typically "gives" their fighters the gate money from the venue and then they keep all of the pay-per-view revenue (which of course is where all the real money is).

Ehh, I'm talking about the fighters fighting on FS 1/2 and FX. Even guys on the PPVs are hurting. Brendan Schaub is mediocre, but he said he's lost six sponsors due to that deal.

KungFu Fighting & kicks that are fast as Lightning
They make billions and give so little back to the fighters. Disgraceful.
Call me a socialist commie (which I most certainly am) but whats so hard about the owners simply taking in the same amount the top fighters make?

I'd be content with just that (on top of the billions I already own) and just pass the rest around to the fighters doing all the hard work that made me rich

Worker owned setup. UFC needs to fail and be bought out by better owners or another company that treats their fighters fairly needs to rise up and take their spot, I don't know anything about Bellator's ownership but if they're paying their fighters fairly then they need that number 1 spot.

A first year WWE rookie that get's no airtime probably makes more than ur average UFC fighter (which is ranges from 12k to 20k a fight)
