Just watched the main event, holy fukk, that might be the most impressive performance I have seen this year, he did that to the #1 guy and former champ, and he did it standing which is where JDM shines, fukking amazing, those knees ware absolutely a beauty to watch.

Prates I don't think he has the grappling to deal with Islam and barring some weird circumstances (like the ones that led to JDM being champ) I don't think he will ever be champ but between the finishes, the sponsorship deals, the overall popularity, he will be one of those guys that actually made more money out of this than the champs of his generation.

And man fukking JDM, you would think that if a fukking Dagestani wrestler was able to destroy your legs, you would work on checking leg kicks.

Just watching it now. A few thoughts

Prates has improved even more since that Ian Garry loss.

I think JDM is done, the body language in his last 2 fights has been terrible too. He won't challenge for a title again

Illia Topuria should never consider moving up to Welterweight and I don't see that Islam fight ever happening now they're not in the same division which is a shame
