I go back and forth sometimes but when you think about timeless UGK classics, most of them come from Ridin Dirty. That's also the album Bun B started out rapping Pimp C imo. But from "One Day" to "Murder" to "Diamonds and Wood" to "Hi-Life" to "Pinky Ring" that shyt is too good.

That's cool. I didn't know many people that thought Super Tight is better than Ridin Dirty but where I'm from isn't a good barometer of what people are actually listening too and liking. It just sounded like, to me, that they really found their sound and their voices on Ridin Dirty so that's why it's the best to me.

In my experience with people who really know their shyt it's split between those two generally. Most of the hipsters/people who only listen to shyt like Big Pimpin tend to like Underground Kingz the most

I will agree that Ridin Dirty kinda has the best overall look at their sound, there is a lot of open West Coast influence on Super Tight

Pimp C's production on Super Tight is where the UGK sound was birthed imo. Sometimes I forget he produced every song on that album

I agree, This album gets slept on because Ridin Dirty came after it but this shyt was the soundtrack of my youth....

Production wise I think it actually goes harder than Ridin Dirty.
