Uh, what the hell happened? (date who flaked SO HARD)

Had made plans to meet up with this one chick at a bar/restaurant type of place right next to madison square garden, she was all for it, I was all for it, and even 5 minutes before the time we agreed upon she was texting me saying she was on the train/on her way. I told her I was in front of the main entrance and what I was wearing so she could find me.

After that, 10 min later she texts me "there are like 5 different entrances to this place" so I call her and she says "I'm coming"....then 10 min later I get a text that her roommate got locked out so she had to go back home (upper west side) and that she wanted to postpone this.

I asked her "are you here?" and she told me where she was, so I went looking for her there (somewhere in the back, apparently there are multiple entrances to this place but the one she seemed to have gone through wasnt the main one), and the next text I get is "sorry I gotta run though, but I really want to come back here soon! Let's reschedule"

Shot her a text with a reschedule date/time suggestion but at this point is it even worth it? Assuming she was ever there, she had a chance to at least say hi if she waited even 2 minutes for me to find her, but she made no effort. Which is just so weird considering she had earlier been saying how much she was looking forward to it. Just the weirdest way to stand up/flake on/curve someone I have ever heard of, let alone been a part of

I've probably taken an L just for writing this whole post up but I'm 99% leaning towards going NC from hereon out no matter what, the whole thing is just too weird and pathetic (on her end) for me to ever want to see her again.

I actually work in the area so luckily I didn't waste too much of my time. I left after that mess and went to a bar in SoHo to watch the heat/raptors game with some friends

As someone who has had this happen to me as well...when shyt looked south, you shouldn't have even hit her with a reschedule date. Just leave her hanging like she left you.

We, guys, do to much ego inflation to women. I'd rather not get laid for a month or longer, than give her the satisfaction and/or story to go back to her homegirls on how she just curved you.

You shouldn't feel bad for putting out effort to connect with someone. End of the day it's all you can really do. She comes off looking like a terrible person for how she reacted to your efforts. You shouldn't reschedule anything. She was in the same area as you and didn't make contact with you. You can't take her serious.
