Bruh, South Asian Muslims are worse than Arabs. Something like 75 percent of Muslims in South Asia , meaning Pakistan, India, and Bangladesh as a whole want shariah. The data is all here :

First of all, I don't know why would think anyone would defend this

Secondly, that isn't the first time radical Muslim teachers preach none sense in Islamic schools. You can find the same problem at mosques.
