John Stamos Enters Rehab

John Stamos is headed to rehab.

The handsome Full House actor, 51, has checked himself into a residential program for treatment of substance abuse, according to People. The news comes less than a month after Stamos was arrested in Beverly Hills and taken to the hospital by police. The next day, he took to Twitter and thanked his fans for their support.

Stamos has a full schedule ahead of him. In addition to the upcoming Full House reunion show, Fuller House, which he's starring in and producing for Nextflix, Stamos is the star of Grandfathered, a new comedy for Fox scheduled to premiere on Sept. 29.

He was supposed to co-host the live announcement of the Emmy nominations on the morning of Sept. 16, but Variety reported Friday that "scheduling conflicts" would keep him from it. Orange Is the New Black's Uzo Aduba has stepped in and will now share hosting duties with reality star Cat Deely.
