When Ive bumped into people, when they tell me where we know each other, even if I dont remember them personally, we can talk about teachers, principals, events. Or if from same neighborhood, can talk about the corner store or the park.

Just found it hilarious when my man didnt remember me, and I find it funny when I see it happen or hear lyrics describing it

I remember reading somewhere that people who had childhood trauma tend to block out large blocks of their childhood memories as a subconscious coping mechanism. I recently asked someone who was 9 years old on 9/11 what it was like in LA on that day. She said she didn't remember because she was young. That doesn't make sense given her age and how monumental that day was, but I suspect she has some childhood trauma.

Obviously this isn’t an issue with whether she remembered him. People forget or struggle to remember old classmates all the time. It was that she was being a bytch about it that people have a problem with.
