Custom tron got him looking like an Attitude Era top heel. So many layers to that gimmick and for whatever reason they just had him go back to being a generic heel after KKKlandy Orton broke his mask. fukk Orton.

To the point Cody Rhodes should have been balor's main villain on the main roster.
Instead of sticking balor in nxt and wasting his time before injury via work every grappler generally has.

I liked the gimmick and the transition from Dashing to Undashing was the kind of storytelling WWE never does anymore. Still, I never really so THAT much potential on it as some people. It was a wasted opportunity for sure but I never saw the "this could be big" potential some fans thought - and still think - the gimmick had.
