Like mentioned before, he buried actual talent like DDP, Y2J, and Punk while putting over shyt wrestlers like Khali, Kozlov, and JBL (backstage bully, just like Mark). @TheGreatShowtime (or someone else) posted a video in his fukk UT thread where Taker caught feelings (surprise, surprise) over Y2J's jabs during a promo, you know... a work. Well, "Mr. Kayfabe" got all out of character to throw cheap shots at Jericho. They were supposed to feud and never did afterwards because Taker got butthurt and complained to management. As for Punk, the GOAT was SmackDown champ at the time and Undertaker told him to "dress like a champion". That's right, THIS motherfukker:

Punk defended himself and, for doing so, lost his belt to UT during the OPENING MATCH of the next PPV. And you KNOW MarkForHimself would never DARE step to John Cena for dressing like a five-year-old boy. He uses his politics to shyt on those with lesser or zero power.

I remember the exact one you're talking about. Jericho was new in the company and he went out and interrupted Taker, talking about how boring he was. Only problem was that Taker was in the ring cutting a fukking dreadful rambling promo about him and Big Show driving motorcycles through the desert
Jericho said he knew it would backfire because he was meant to be a cocky heel but his promo came after Taker boring the hell out of absolutely everyone and he got pissed
The "they were supposed to feud afterwards" bit is pure conjecture and there's absolutely no way to confirm or deny that, unless you've got a link/quote?

I don't know if they were supposed to feud, but they didn't have a 1-on-1 match with each other until almost 10 years later. How do two top guys stay away from each other like that for so long?
You're right on that, other than forums (TSC, wreddit, WF) over the years pointing to that promo as to why they never feuded or had a singles match until a decade later
