My Mother side of the family was slaves on the islands by the Spanish before moving them to Texas 20 years later.

Most African Americans ancestry were slaves on the islands for years before being moved to the states.

So, our struggle are not pre-dated.
I'm not saying this as some kind of pride of "well, the Haitian slaves on the island suffered chopped hands and raped women before the slaves in Alabama did"
It all happened at the same time or first in the islands, so there's no "piggybacking" going on here.

But Americans have to get passed this nonsense like somehow their struggle encapsulates all racism and slavery that happened everywhere else on the world.
As if somehow black people in the caribbean owe something or are trying to sidle up to the struggle and progress that black american slaves have made.

Those people have their own struggle and progress.

This thread was about 1 Tuskegee Airman who happened to be born in the DR.
But because he shares the same skin color as someone else...we're back to this "black dominicans have self hate" and all this bullshyt?

It says a lot about the people who constantly initiate this shyt in these threads.

:snoop:

People of the islands have had their own struggle that pre-dates anything that happened in America.

Baseless claim by a man with no point other than saying colorism/racism exists everywhere on the planet....but wants to focus on the DR for no apparent reason

The thread is about a Tuskegee Airman.
Do you have any comments about that?
you mentioned colorism, I mentioned black latinos and white latinos, two different races of people not a color only difference which you like to continue to spew. Latino and Hispanic isn't a race classification.

:beli: I should just stay quiet since I don't really have time for any rebuttals.

Ima just say who can blame black Dominicans for not wanting to identify with blacks if the coli is a perfect sample size representation of the black community. I'm ashamed just posting here with u clowns but shyt has become a nasty habit of mine at this point.

Luckily I know better and I know most blacks aren't anything like u fakkits so my black brehs and me still cool :myman:

He is. They undoubtedly marked him down as Negro in the experiment too. @Arianne Martell is some sort of Dominican nativist, that's why this thread was made. They probably said, "A Negro that speaks Spanish. What a novelty!"

*injects hi with lethal disease"

"Maybe his screams of horror will be Spanish, think so, John?"

"Maybe, man."
