Native Americans and aborigines are genetically predisposed to alcoholism- it has something to do with metabolism and also some psychological factors. Once the white settlers came and introduced it, it's been like a blanket infested with small pox on their population. My theory is white a have Ben culturally drinking alcohol for centuries and while you will find many alcoholics in their group, natives have not had enough time to adapt.
