No matter what situation you're in, the best possible outcome occurs.

In a war? No injury or death. Nobody in your squad gets injured or killed.

Going to the casino? None of your bets fail.

Get into a fight? You don't lose.

Start trading stock? None of your investments depreciate in value. Etc

It actually suffers from the same issues that invulnerability has as a superpower. There are many times when you want to be vulnerable and luck isn't a good thing. With luck specifically, it means that you will live a very boring life.

Think of it this way, what's the point of playing a video game if you know you're going to win? What's the point of playing a sport like basketball if every single shot will go in? Pretty much every competitive activity will be boring and meaningless with superluck. As men a lot of our friend groups come from these competitive activities too.

You may even suffer from a lot of the drawbacks of immortality as a power. You will most likely outlive all of your friends and family and be alone due to your super luck keeping you away from disease, cancer, car accidents, etc. How many funerals are you comfortable attending?

I'd still take it. I'd good luck this planet to a golden age.

Unlimited luck gives you the best outcomes, but without agency, you’re not truly in control. That’s why I prefer something like time manipulation (not time travel) where I can pause, rewind, loop, or jump forward in time.

If something goes wrong, I can just rewind and try again. It guarantees mastery over any situation through trial and error, unlike being lucky every time. You never truly learn from luck, which would make it very boring. Plus, you can’t control how luck works, it could lead to strange or unintended consequences.

With unlimited luck, you will survive a war, but you can’t undo it. With time manipulation, you could undo wars or prevent disasters.

When the outcome is a sure thing, you become an instant team player, in the squad of Gods.

You get shot up by 12 rounds of an assault rifle and wake up in a hospital bed...

"luck" just seems like such an arbitrary thing, and contrary to how OP frames it - it isn't always "best possible scenario" that occurs or at the very least "best possible scenario" in certain situations/circumstances is still a pretty shytty scenario

getting into a fight and being lucky - doesn't necessarily translate to never losing. it could simply mean "lucky to get out alive" - despite what state you might be left in

luck is relative. for instance - in a potential situation that without luck you/most people would be losing two limbs - and you happen to only lose one - you've technically been "lucky"/had the best possible scenario, but ultimately its still a shytty outcome

when it comes to superpowers, given the choice, I'd rather have something that's a lot less open to interpretation and 100% under my control pertaining activation

Books and Pencils
What the gawds giveth they will taketh away in other ways.

You may have the luck but what about your family and friends? Someone will have to suffer to even out the odds.
