Dude's lyrics aren't really that profound or enlightened and theres SO many other artists who do what he does so much better.

Derez Deshon mixed with Meek isn't cutting it anymore. He's not moneybagg yo. He's not even that nice melodically. He's not young thug. He's not Kodak or Uzi. He's not a boogie.

He can't hold a candle to roddy ricch.

Am I missing something? Did the labels just nab this guy for having some following, not because of actual talent?

Theres so many artists he's just mimicking right now.

I think he's clearly talented, but hasn't reached his peak musically. He's a guy that I think once all the hype dies down and he's making music way later down the road, he'll create masterpieces that the average radio listener will never hear, not meant to be heard by the IG thots and clout chasers of today.
