Yah, i said it. Its a monster. :hhh:

It keeps buying up any competitor that trys to offer better service or lower plans. And yes, they shouldve never been allowed to buy sprint. They are on some US Steel Rockefeller monopoly bullsht:camby:

Background info:
so i was looking at new phones on the samsung site and i noticed they had another carrier beyond verizon, att, and tmobile called "US Cellular". Had me scratching my head cause ive never heard of them :dahell:

So i google them and find out they are a gigantic carrier with a lot history and surprisingly low prices :ohhh:

I visit their website out of curiosity, and i get double shocked when i look at their page and notice its structurally identical to how my tmobile app is set up, just a different color scheme . And i suddenly realize why ive never heard of this company in my life. THEY WERE BOUGHT OUT BEFORE I COULD EVEN USE THEM!?:why:

but its deeper than that. I just remembered that tmobile also bought up Deadpool's Mint competitor which was the spirit airlines of cell service. And they bought metro a while back too. But now im starting to see a strange world where every single phone company will soon be a T-Mobile offshoot.

And it was under democrat administrations when this antitrust violation stuff happened too. So i worry that if T-Mobile hq woke up tmrw and decided to buy ATT under trump, then that would be the death of the entire phone industry. Whats to stop them from doubling the rates at all these companies at that point? :lupe:

It is until u compare it to the alternatives (at&t and Verizon) :russ:
Thats an issue too. Have you seen the beef we have with cable industry? There are whole states with only 2 providers because all the little firms have been bought out or pushed out the market. So now charter or comcast can give you sht service and you have no leverage.

If there are only 2 competitors then they can both raise prices and lower service quality and give you no other options.

And im saying this as a T-Mobile subscriber. Just last month, they arbitrarily broke decade long contract clauses to remove price locks in service agreements. You may legitimately wake up tmrw morning and have your bill increase by 10 percent without better service.

lol at AT&T, straight trash who did nothing for me. T-Mobile all the way, until you need to call into India.

I always been on smaller-size companies , like Metro for example.

Currently on Google FI just because it lets me use my phone outside of the U.S .

Metro PCS is T-Mobile.
I know , I never been on T-Mobile but I believe Metro is cheaper but I actually got off due to a change in their policy regarding having service while being out of the country.

How do you like it? I'm thinking about switching over

No contract plus you can pause the service. They have a plan where they charge you based on how much data you use and since I'm on wifi like 80% of my day...it works for me. I think it suits people that travel outside of the country for months at a time but you first have to have the service in the U.S for a few months , before you can benefit from that.
