Randy Orton is boring as shyt in the ring (I actually like his character, but his matches bore me to tears)

Daniel Bryan doesn't have any really memorable/legendary matches in his WWE career. He has some great matches but none that people will be talking about years for now. NONE in the WWE.

ECW was terrible

I never found the Outlaws, Triple H, X-Pac and Chyna DX entertaining, just incredibly corny.

Ric Rude in WCW was the best heel I have ever seen week in and week out

Brian Pillman should have never left WCW in 1996

I have no interest in ever seeing a Chris Benoit match again

Jerry Lawler is one of the top three American workers of all time if you include psychology in the definition of work (which you should).

fukkery is entertaining, but the truth is we drop that word way too often as a way of rationalizing that today's product is great.

I like and respect both HBK and HHH, but I can't stand their two-man version of D-X. To me it's the worst kind of comedy imaginable. I got to the point where I couldn't even sit through those segments. Putting on black-and-green T-shirts made them instant morons for some reason.

D-Bry's beard was a stupid idea, and I don't care if it sold T-shirts. His talent overcame that ridiculous look, but I don't like comedy anywhere near main events.

I agree with all of this

I prefer Randy Orton as a babyface.

Dean Ambrose is overrated and has become the least interesting member of The Shield. All he has over the other two is talking which wows others but not me.

Owen was better than Bret.

Raven could've been a top heel in the attitude era.

I can't stand lucha.

Kurt Angle is probably the most talented performer in wrestling history. That said, he decided to work a style that doesnt fully take advantage of said talent. He's very overrated when judging him as a worker. He is entertaining as hell to watch but not an all time great.

Terry Funk, Ric Flair and Jerry Lawler are the "holy trinity" of american wrestling. After them there's a noticable drop off for n°4.

Hogan wasnt a bad wrestler at all. He was lazy with his "formula" but could work his ass off when he wanted and knew how to create big moments.

KENTA is overrated as fukk.

this is true. If you watch his matches in Japan, Hogan could be good at times

American Badass Undertaker was dope.

this tenfold.

Taker stepped of his technical ability like crazy during this era, the whole "deadman" persona up until his return in 2001 kept his moveset super limited. Most of my all time Taker matches were after 2001. Also, you actually heard him talk much more during this time, as before hand a lot of his promos were

I'll let the Rock say it

In a nutshell... Taker's 2001-2003 run was pretty fukkin dope.

More:

The Rock / Prince Paul's feud >>>> Rock/Austin. I enjoy their matches much more. fukkin shame they never got to headline a Wrestlemania alone.

Randy Orton is just a fukkin uninteresting character.

When it comes to hardcore wrestling legends in the WWE, outside of Mick Foley..... I would say Yung Simba Shane McMahon is up there. KoR 2000 vs Kurt Angle damn near cemented that for me. Shane took more pain in the few matches he been in than 85% of the current roster would ever take.

I was a huge fan of seeing Chyna compete in serious feuds for the Intercontinental Championship... but gawd damn was she a horrible wrestler. (probably not unpopular per say, but I had to state that)

2003 Smackdown >>>>> Triple H and the Terra Ryzing Revue RAW 2003

WCW was smart to never mainevent Malenko, Saturn and Eddy Guerrero. They weren't mainevent caliber at the time. Eddy wasn't until he found his niche in WWE. They were great for the undercard, but nothing more like internet fanboys like to portray.

Ted Dibiase should've won the WWF title at some point

From 1985-2000 Lex Luger had a better career than Sting

Barry Windham and Curt Hennig in their primes were better than Ric Flair in the ring

Having a bunch of moves is extremely overrated and doesn't make you a good worker at all (Probably not unpopular but still needed to be addressed)

Vince was right for doing what he did to Bret Hart at SS 1997

The Undertaker's gimmick is the best gimmick in pro wrestling history and his WM streak is the best on going "angle" (for lack of a better word) in WWE history

Paul Roma was a hell of a in ring performer

Interesting you say that, I read Meltzer's Pillman tribute article and it discussed how much Pillman never wanted to leave WCW and that all he wanted was more money, even when he was in the WWF, his goal was to eventually return to WCW.

Yeah Pillman never wanted to leave, he just wanted WCW to give him Lex Luger money, cause he thought if they did, that means they'd have to push him. He liked it in WCW.
