Great episode. I have to put him up there as one of the most Unsung of the people that have been featured on this show. Incredible career. It also was a great reminder of what the white man did to disco and black dance music in the late 70s. Most interesting, IMO was how he and band mates ended up producing major hit albums and singles for the very artists that were idolized by the fans that drove his music from the airwaves. Interesting that it took Euros(again) to have an appreciation for the sound of black music. Perhaps they just don't have that pretention of the American legacy of racism being so subconscious. Not to mention an almost Puritan-like Father-God syndrome. I've never thought about it before, but perhaps this is why Euro-Pop was able to take over so rapidly in the 80s. They grabbed him back as quickly as they could though to get them Madonna hits.
LOL, hard on hoes too
I was standing at an elevator when she goes, ‘Why don’t you want to f**k me?’" Rodgers told The Sun about the alleged interaction. “I was like, ‘What did you just say to me?’ She was wondering why I had not propositioned her. She couldn’t understand that. It was like, ‘Everybody wants me.'"

Success in all those different genres. Its just natural for he and Pharrell to make some good music together.
