"UNTITLED" once again shows why Nas is a Jedi Master

I love Untitled. Album evoked so much emotion in me when it release and yes this is the perfect time to revisit this album.

I honestly think u can make an argument that this is Nasir's 3rd best album after Illmatic and It Was Written

Nas has a couple of albums where he touched on the same subject matter with greater execution. For example, The Lost Tapes is one that comes to mind. It's just as relevant, if not more relevant to now. Untitled is still dope though.

The thing is, I do not hate anything in rap music if it is done well. Y'all My nikkas and Black President were done well. A song like "What Goes Around" was done well, etc. But the curve is much tougher when you are making a song with a "message." A lot of J. Cole's worst habits are from the Nas of this era, and I like Cole a lot. This album is the reason I never bought Distant Relatives.

LIG to me, is overstated because it is a return to form for Nas to a degree but it still lacks the Nas of Stillmatic, a lot of God's Son, Lost Tapes and parts of SD. For example, Lupe Fiasco put out "The Cool" my freshman year of college and no one was bored by that.

But that's what I mean, what's boring to some is dope to others. Its why even Cole and Lupe have polarizing opinions on them despite strong fanbases. Nas too.

That's why I always understand when people may like something even if its boring to me. I don't think its about painfully riding or dying with some, there's some there even if its just a message

Go quote somebody else. I already said in this thread that Nas was clearly influenced by Ice Cube 16 years earlier. Relevant is relevant. I don't see anyone claiming that Nas was a psychic. I wasn't directing it specifically towards you, just in general, as if Nas stans don't do the exact same thing. What the hell do you mean that you don't see anyone claiming that Nas is a psychic? Look at the damn thread title and the posts in it. fukk the beats. And fukk Nas too.
