Help a brehette out. I thought my first interview went horrible but after I was done the guy said he's gonna invite the top 2 back for a second interview. He called me back on Friday telling me to come in tomorrow. The first one was with 3 ppl and I was scared shytless. I don't know what to expect tomorrow. How do I prepare for it?

What kind of job is it?

From my experience a second interview means you got the job. First interview is unofficial they just pick who they're gonna hire. Then the second interview is exactly the same as the first except they record you. Then you fill out paperwork and start going through their whole process. i've only worked entry level jobs though. Might be different for you.

Just be confident and personable. And make sure you sell yourself shamelessly. Keep alluding to the fact that you're a team player, a hardworking employee, extremely punctual, etc. Employers like people who seem eager to work.

If it's HR make sure you stay very PC. The last thing any company wants in HR is someone who has obvious biases or holdups. :manny:
yea my last job was in hr so i know whats up. I'm just wondering what kind of questions they'll ask since I've never done a second interview.

Good job. Now its time to clinch it!

Google or search Glassdoor for that position to have an idea of what kind of questions they may ask for the 2nd interview, and definitely don't rule out getting asked the same question that was asked in the 1st one. This way you can kind of prepare your answers and deliver them more confidently.

Make sure you give a good handshake and try to maintain good eye contact.

If you haven't already, do your research on the company.

Good luck

Have you researched the company well? Have they been in the local news recently for any reason?

They might use the second interview to be a bit more thorough and spit out various scenarios and how you would deal with them.
