Brad Stevens shared a promising update about Gordon Hayward

Gordon Hayward’s recovery appears to be on the right track.

According to head coach Brad Stevens, Hayward’s hard cast — which was adorned with stickers by one of his daughters — has now been removed in exchange for a walking boot. It’s been just two weeks since the 27-year-old successfully underwent surgery to repair his fractured left ankle.

During his weekly appearance on 98.5 the Sports Hub, Stevens also mentioned that Hayward had begun working with the Celtics coaching staff and supplied information prior to the Celtics ‘wins over the Milwaukee Bucks and San Antonio Spurs. He also added that the All-Star has begun shooting out of a chair and described his spirits as “really good.”

I won't even bother rushing him back. The risk is too much.

Learn your history. Don't want to end up in a G. Hill situation do you? :usure:

Was the extent of Grant Hill's injury like this one though? Last time I remember that Grant Hill actually had a broken foot

Hill had ankle problems that he never got solved until he went to Phoenix where they do that prevention workout stuff. I remember Amin Elhassan talking a lot about it.
