One bad quarter where you still turn a profit and it's goodbye 12k workers? White-collar workers need to start unionizing too.

These companies would be nothing if not for the workers. More people need to start realizing this.

I figured this out way back when I was working for a government contractor.
You can't trust the government or these companies to keep you employed.

These cats didn’t even eat for a calendar year and UPS is treating them like disposable Google employees. This first month has been a bloodbath whether it’s tech or blue/brown collar jobs.

Very curious who makes up for 12,000 workers unless UPS is gonna run some migrant labor sweatshops on the low and keep it contained to distribution centers.

Either way this is terrible no matter how you could even consider how to spin it. UPS cheered on some “we did it Joe” type shǐt and now are nervous to see if they are one of the ones on the chopping block.

They have cut drivers hours and have increased last mile delivery by using the Post Office to deliver most of their parcels
My UPS lady was talking to me about it last week
And my friend who worked at my old station in Houston
Sent me a pick of my old dock and the amount of UPS packages they have in OTRs, crab cages and APCs
Them nikkas are literally sending trailers to the PO and just dumping shyt
