he's actually pretty special. i got indoctrinated into lightweight yU standom off his two excellent albums and we all know Oddisee has more talent in his pinky toenail than the entire GOOD music roster combined, but Uptown XO just came through and smacked me in the face with this album. AB the Pro is just as much to share in the glory.

i think that the DMV is my second or third city/area behind Detroit (obvi) and either LA or NYC given my mood.

i did that as well. but this album made me actually LISTEN. something about an ALBUM will do that for you. Like...a label thought enough of you to push you out there. and sans your better known group members.

Great thread and I definitely got to cosign DMV too. Oddisee dropped a dope album last year, I was very glad to see it get some love here and in various music circles; he even got some shine from Apple when they played one of his tracks at a conference. Young Guru gave him some shout outs too last year
