I Don’t carry balances. Pay it off every payday and get cash back every month.

I did use an interest free CC to pay off a car once. And also for my last couple of semesters in college. Only time I’ve carried balances.

I don’t understand people who use a credit card to buy stuff they cannot afford with their regular income…unless it is an emergency expense like a car issue or medical issue you shouldn’t spend more than you would if you didn’t have that credit card…that’s how they get you

I have one credit card, I have auto pay on it to pay my phone bill… that’s all I use it for… I have my bank set up where my credit card gets paid paid off automatically.

I got about 5 credit cards and have about a $1200 balance between all of them. I only use credit cards as a layer of abstraction and for strategic spending on things I can already afford.

I don't mind carrying a small amount of debt...my credit score is in the 800s
