Like Cali, it's a low percentage because it's way more diverse. But you cannot discount nearly 3.6 million people because of that percentage. It will likely be the first state to pass 4 million, so they say. That's a shytload of people.

People from Cali and Toronto always say this but everybody else knows Race >>> Ethnicity >>> Nationality.
Plus the west coast has ZERO afrolatin and caribbean presence outside of Belizean pockets in LA.
The east doesn't have very many pacific islanders outside of filipinos tho...

I Never took a Census in my life, so unless they use stuff like Public records to validate this stuff then all I can say is lol. But there are tons of areas where there are literally no black people.

The top 20 by percentage makes much more sense. I dont know why I always expected California to be in it and for Ohio to be much higher in the rankings.
I guess i made certain assumptions about US demographics based on other information i'd seen and things i heard. I have never been to Ohio except for Cincinnati once but I was always under the impression that it was as black if not even blacker than Georgia.

THis breh who used to be my barber always swore that the U.S. "was more than 50% black" and i just have to take his word for it. I told his ass okay i wanna believe that too but breh you gotta give me some hard evidence or anything to base my argument on before i go look like a fool arguing your point with other intelligent people.

Black people are centralized for the most part, in terms of high percentage black areas. So it's easy for someone who hasn't really left their region of the US to feel as if the Black population is higher than they think. But more than 50% would be insane....

I saw so many black people when I was in the seattle metro area visiting family. even got a tattoo from a black tattoo shop in this lil town south of seattle

The central district is the historically black part of Seattle. As is South Seattle and the Ranier Beach area.

• A two-hour flight to just about any other Black hub--DMV, Charlotte, Memphis, NYC, Philly, etc.
• Black-oriented music festivals, etc.

Met Keisha Lance-Bottoms once. She's a little older but I likes I was disappointed i couldnt vote for her since im not within city limits even tho my address says "Atlanta, GA". Im in an unincorporated neighborhood

Also met Stacey Abrams. I wanna vote for her and she has a lot of support but I'll believe it when i see it. That rich Indian chick i was going out with introduced me to Stacy Abrams and been damn near campaigning for her. She's even donated a shyt load of money to her campaign too. I'm excited about this one but I am skeptical at the same time because so many of them conservative whites in rural areas arent about to let a black woman get elected. Being a democrat doesnt help her cause either.

In most states I go to you can feel the lack of black people in comparison to everyone else. In dc, Florida and Georgia I always feel or felt “comfortable”

I think it would be dope if black folks took over Georgia, The Carolinas, Alabama and Mississippi. If we just got our own governors in there we could enact Slavery, Jim Crow and Race Riot apology plans. Put sorry for slavery billboards up all throughout these states. Commercials, Newspapers the whole nine. Change names of state sponsored universities just to fukk their heads up. White people would leave in droves. If only we really just had our hands on the state money.
