I wish european, African and Latin American countries did what China did which is to make their own alternatives to Amazon, Facebook, Google, Microsoft, etc.

Google and Apple basically ARE smart phones and in many parts of the world, Facebook and WhatsApp(both owned by the same company) is how people can access the internet. Trillions in trade is done through the american banks via an american payment system (S.W.I.F.T.) or through cryptocurrency which was invented in---you guessed it: America.
Trump knows this which is why he can put world leaders through humiliation rituals and hoe them out in public. America indeed DOES have all the cards including the 3 biggest air and land forces in the world being branches of the American military and America has the world's largest stockpile of missiles of any kind.
