You'd think they would wait a couple years and let things stabilize before opening it. Somalia still ain't safe at all.

Why dont the somali goverment first get control of the region while villages are being taken over by al-shabab. Somalialand has way better government and actually takes down al-shabab.

Highly doubt somaliland wants anything to do with somalia'a gov. Somaliland has been helping themselves for far to long while the mess in the south was getting worst. Not as bad as it was back in 2006 but i would say its much MUCH safer in somaliland then it is in xameer esp in rural village area were al-shababs are hiding and taking over.

The media is very sensationalist. Al Shabaab don't bother nikkas unless you with the government or NGOs they got beef with. You just gotta not go to places govt people go to.
Somalia is only improving just needs to get rid of all these crazy al-shabab mandems. These guys arent even fighting for religon its all politics. Inshallah there will be peace in xamar
