Lebanon is extra complicated because it’s it’s not solely a Muslim country. There’s both branches of Islam, different Christian groups, Druze, etc. From Lebanon to Iraq there are historic non-Muslim communities. Even faith groups that are branches of Judeo-Christian faiths but are totally obscure like the Mandeans.
With that said, your point does still stand. Lebanon fought an insane sectarian civil war so unity only goes but so far. Which I think is what the Zionists are banking on by bombing everything in sight. Make the Shia population a rejected population in the country which then draws support away from Hezbollah. The stupidity of course is that bombing people indiscriminately will most likely make the bomber hated rather than the target.
