Here are my impressions of day one at the eurogamer expo in london
Dead rising 3 -Playing on Xbox one
This was a surprise because i headed to this first thinking it was a walkthrough demo in a theatre but it turned out to be playable on xbox one behind curtains due to its 18 rating.
First thing that i noticed OMG there are a TON of zombies literally hundreds probably many hundreds at once. This build looked to be the one they were showing on stage at PAX with the frame rate improvements in place and yes the frame rate is fixed :-).
One thing i was worried about was the ease of creating combo weapons but it turns out its very easy you simply press RB then press 'a' on a weapon to create combos.
The 10 minutes flew by and i think i hardly saw any of it so ill be going back tomorrow to have another go.
Forza 5 - Playing on Xbox one
Today was a good forza day i got to play the game and also attend the forza 5 developer session by Dan Greenwalt. Firstly the game demo was a single lap of a track i have seen before (but the name escapes me) there was a choice of 5 cars i chose the ferrari. First thing i noticed is the lighting its spectacular and the super smooth framerate.
The rewind feature is still in place but the addition of the rumble in the triggers is perfect for this game and it works i found myself pulling back slightly off the trigger to reduce the wheel spin it just feels right in a game like this.
At the dev session the career mode was shown it looks to be split into car types so if you want you can do a whole career in certain types of car and are not forced to upgrade. A few tracks were confirmed as returning with Silverstone receiving a brand new scan of the track with the new layouts made for formula one.
Also for the first time Greenwalt showed gameplay of the Alps track that is returning from previous game in a fully updated form and its a great looking track with the alps in the background and long winding roads.
Greenwalt comes across as someone who really cares what the fans think and he admitted that two months before launch wasn't the best time for him to travel over to london but he wanted to do it for the fans and its appreciated.
Battlefield 4 - Playing on Xbox one
This was my tweet as i joined the line to play the game 'Wow first eyes on of battlefield 4 on xbox one. Silky smooth and the graphics are gorgeous'. I was seriously surprised by first it was running on xbox one (i expected pc) and second how polished it looked.
As i was queueing the power went out in the battlefield 4 section and although this delayed my play session it did give a chance to get the see some of the xbox one UI and prove it was actually running on xbox one hardware :-).
There where three modes being played in 32 player configurations i got to play essentially a capture a flag variant where you have to pick up a bomb and take it to a location.
This was my tweet afterwards 'Hands on with battlefield 4 was great'. After playing this i dont think i can bring myself to play the xbox 360 version i think i will wait for the xbox one launch.
And finally..
I picked up some tshirts https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-...AAAAB04/bjMB4K4n8-g/w387-h684-no/IMAG0008.jpg
Tomorrow - TITANFALL, TITANFALL, TITANFALL, TITANFALL (PC) and probably COD Ghosts (Xbox One), Ryse (Xbox One)

It's nice to see what the general public thinks of the games.

so now that you can't prove there's a ps4 stan equivalent of yourself, you go off on a random tangent about nothing. news flash, idiot, i don't have a ps4 pre-ordered, you do
