Relegation makes the sport more enjoyable. Makes wins/ties/losses way more valuable. The USA system of lets reward a team for bad product by giving them the highest draft pick (MLS does it too, but not to the level of ther sports) is insane. Let owners and supporters groups take pride in their teams. If they owner doesn't want to put money back into the club he'll either have to sell or be relegated. Suddenly teams at the bottom have something to fight for.
