I know theyre trying to phase out usps eventually. But a mailbox I've been using all my life is gone. Just used it last month. I drove for about 2 miles out of curiosity to see if I could find one. All gone.

I just went to the post office drop this bill off (the bill is not in my name. My late aunt. Long story). Yes, I know we all pay online for everything. But I'm just curious. Is it like that in your city/suburb? All the usps mailboxes are gone?

Yup. I had a house built and closed on Jan 28th here in Jax Fl

What nobody told me prior to moving in is that there was a rash of usps mail men getting robbed for the master keys to the mailboxes.

So usps decided to suspend mail carrier services for multiple neighborhoods including mine until they come up with a solution.

So now for me to get my mail I have to go to the post office It’s a major pain in the ass. For one.. the post office is slammed because everyone had to go their to get their mail along with the regular post office traffic

Secondly they post office workers are stressed the fukk out. They are messing up. I went two weeks ago to get my mail and they gave me a huge stack of mail. I figured since I had not been there in a week it made sense. After I went 5 letters deep I then noticed all of the other mail was for my neighbors. They gave me a stack of other people’s mail. I brought it back to the post office


Others times I am not getting my mail. I was out of town for two weeks. Went to the post office and they told me I had no mail. I said that’s impossible. I should at least have some junk mail. They just shrugged their shoulders


I have been playing this game since Jan. It’s now almost July. This shyt is beyond old

If you have missing mailboxes in your area, this is most likely the biggest reason.
