Wizards got 4 solid first round picks last year, they have the 6th and 19th. Queen from Maryland will be available if nobody else we want falls
We have Will Dawkins calling the shots as the GM and he helped shape OKC
I get it you probably didn't watch Wizards game, but the young boys are special and will make noise in this league sooner than later
I love the direction and leadership, just need a decent coach...
Not this past season. Just wild to see them lose like were supposed to and missed out on getting Ace Bailey. I guess Derik Queen is a marketable pick, especially with Bub there. The team's been average my whole life and it shouldn't be in that area.

We came close a couple of times.

Webber (Zion) was accused of rape in an off-season and was traded for Mitch Richmond (B.Beal)
That team had Juwan Howard, Calbert Chaney, Rod Strickland, Rasheed Wallace, Ben Wallace.
Traded Webber for Mitch and Webber leads Sac to WCF after final :sadbron:

John Wall/Beal in their prime had a team and we had salary cap for KD but he wouldn't even visit here and went to GS
IF he did what he should have done, could have been nice :francis:

Never knew Chris 'fukkin Prime Tyra Banks' Webber had a scrape charge.

Whatever happened to it... settlement?

It was swept under the rug, the league hushed it up for reasons never revealed to the public but this is what I recall.
That summer I'm with a friend of the family and we driving on i295, smoking a Philly Blunt :manny:
When all of a sudden, to our left is a big white Ford Bronco (Identical to OJ's) and my homey says Yo, that's Chris Webber and he's smoking a blunt
I'm like "Yeah Ok :sas1: "
I look over and peep what looks like C.Webb partaking just like we are, but I can't be sure.
He looks over, head nods, then speeds up. License plate was C Webb :francis:
Now LATER that same summer, in the news it was reported that Webb and Howard were at a party and some girl claimed she was raped reportedly by both of them. Something nobody would believe even if true, right....?!?
A month or so later Chris "Zion" Webber is traded to Sacramento for Mitch "B.Beal" Richmond and I'm literally punching myself in the dikk at this point. Media outlets/newspapers never spoke on the why it happened BACK THEN. So I always felt the NBA just didn't want the image and tried to put a fire out type shyt. That's what happened tho, it was a story for a week or so then Nathan. After doing some research. I noticed something that supports what I'm saying.

That's April 6th 1998, and then by May 22nd 1998 the case is closed

What's interesting is the opening line...
"The former Washington Wizards teammates Juwan Howard and Chris Webber"
So it went from accused to cleared in a little over a month, but you traded Zion for Beal... looks fishy
So I assumed that I don't know what, but something.... something :patrice:
