Vaccine mandate in a week. How will Amazon fare?

I worked at a warehouse for a few months before getting this remote gig and I can tell yall first hand that the majority of people I spoke to about the vaccine were staunchly against it.

I'm so curious to see how this whole thing will play out when the mandates are implemented. Kinda leaning towards bezos or whoever is in charge now will convince biden to change his mind.

Mandates are not laws. They can mandate as much as they want. Nobody has to follow it. That may mean finding something else other than Amazon and other global actors who participate in global actions such as wanting compulsory mandates for medical procedures that are deemed experimental.

People have the power. And we're lucky that the only power we need in this instance, is the power to not participate in global interest.

That's the point. People don't know that it can't be enforced, because they don't know what a mandate is. So they say that they are going to mandate a medical procedure, or else you can't do such and such; then people get scared and go out and get a medical procedure that someone has mandated.

It's rooted in ignorance by design. The point is to have somebody who people think weld power say that something is required or else, and then you scared them into something that you want them to do.
