Musk is an alt-right nerd who bought Twitter specifically to have an internet version of Fox News: a corrupt operation dedicated to engineering public opinion and voter turn out towards rights wing sentiment under the guise of promoting free speech and open debate.

Elon is one of those guys that always jumps to the winning team and by winning, winning is defined as whoever gives him the best benefits package.

Elon is held up as some sort of free speech advocate and hero and I'm not sure why. I feel he bought Twitter so he'd always have a platform to retort after getting bashed in the media when he gets out of mainstream opinions and to also be able to 'control the narrative' of mainstream thought. Owning media platforms is more important than having 'dollars' in the bank because you can literally control what a large portion of the population does through these platforms.

Looking at Elon praising the Chinese for their 9-9-6 culture and seeing how he brutally gutted the Twitter staff and hearing about the working conditions at his various companies, Elon is the ultimate opportunist and profits and self glory is number 1 to him.
