Based off their first albums I kinda feel like Vanilla Ice was spitting more game - Macklemore might be the better songwriter though

what kind of choice is this? Vanilla Ice didnt write one lyric, and his name is synonymous with interloping poser. Cacklemore doesnt even rap, he just talks fast, and makes music that is headed to a supermarket playlist near you in about a year.

Its not really a fair comparison. They are completely different artists. I don't f*ck with either of them but Vanilla Ice will be forever known as a clown (which it isn't even entirely his fault, its just the way it is) and Macklemore makes corny music but he puts a lot more of his heart into it than Vanilla ever did.

Macklemore is a genuine artist whether you like his music or not. Vanilla Ice was a gimmick and a corporate bi product.
