Try to get a hotel on the strip. You have access to all of the hotel casino's once you are there.

If you get a hotel off of the strip you will need a shuttle to the strip, unless you are driving. Its better to walk along the strip, rather than drive.

Try to visit Fremont while you are there.

I used to live in Vegas, but get a hotel on the strip so you dont need a rental. Shop around for deals on rooms since the time you are going is high in tourists (everything is more expensive in vegas in the summer).

I dont think the hotels on the strip are "better" than those off, but you pay for the convenience and location.

Best (reasonably priced) Jacuzzi rooms are:

Palms Place 1 bedroom suite
Elara 1 bedroom suite

Most of the other places have the jacuzzi in the bathroom as opposed to the living-area. It's not wavy. The ones at the Luxor are lame as well.

you might as well stay off the strip. Staying on the strip is for niqqas lookin to get it in, but since you're bringing a female, there's no point. You'll save a lot of money staying off the strip as well. Look into a best western or motel 6

Excaliber has a jacuzzi in the room tho. I know from personal experience. As far as strip hotels go, its one of the more reasonable around, but its at the southern most end, away from clubs, but you dont need to really work about that. Your girl will probably wanna check out thunder from down under.
