The plan to breakup Russia and feed on it for decades failed with Putin. The plan to destabilize central Asia and feed on the potentially over $1 trillion worth of minerals in Afghanistan and probably an equal amount in Balochistan as well as the untapped massive oil and gas in central Asia also failed. That's the reason we won't leave Afghanistan - it's the launch pad into central Asia.
