Very Important Thread: Why do Black Americans kick there kids out at 18 years old??

THIS IS A GREAT QUESTION. my mom and i ( which is Jamaican) was discussing this today. she was telling a story when her co worker was ( black American) bragged about kicking her son out at 18. my mom had a puzzled face like why? where he is going to live?? her co worker was like she doesnt care!

The only people I know who kicked their kids out early was because they're kids were doing demonic shyt or was just being losers and NEVER wanted to leave (aka get a job).

I don't know a single person who came from a stable home who was kicked out at 18. Matter fact I knew a bunch of dudes that was still in they moms basement at 30

The ones that I've seen kicked out, were the ones who weren't' going anywhere and weren't worth the trouble. The ones who they've felt like were beyond saving. Its more on some "You go be a fukk up on your own, you're not gonna fukk up in my house and not pay rent" than it is "You're 18, GTFO :blackfdup:"

Its always the unruly motherfukkers who want to do what they want, when they want, that get kicked out.

That's what I've seen in my family. The ones with their shyt together, were and are more than welcomed to stay past 18. As long as you have a plan.

And then there's the exception. The parents who never wanted kids and think that 18 is really an adult in America. The fukk can you do at 18?

One of my co workers is on this tip. She kicked all her kids out at 18. Now she had all 3 before she was 18 and she's only 41 with 4 grandkids. That should tell yall all you need to know about how she is. Its impossible in 2014 to move out at 18 and do anything with yourself unless your in the service. Your basically setting your kids up for failure

Wasn't finish writing my thread some of you got a point, but like me and My homeboys had this problem. I wasn't a trouble maker and my dad was telling me should move out but my mom had to talk him out of it. Same with my Homeboys. It's that generation in the 40 50 range. I just want answers because I see this problem with a lot of people.

Disintegration: The Splintering of Black America

Basically it talks about how African american citizens dont welcome africans. And how Africans don't help AA even though they take advantage of what AA fought years for. Good book, recommended.

Anyway it talks about alfuent AA or Africans still don't pay for college education or first housing like other races do. This in turn sets up future generations like 10 years behind. They go into a model they think whites do when in actuallity johny and sue dont really pay for shyt until early 30's. basically money is worth more in early life than late life and the more you help your kids save some money the better they'll be. Granted this is an opinion but has some facts to back it up
